What is Co-Creation?
Co-creation with the universe is based on the idea that we have the power to shape our reality. You are not simply a passive observer of the universe. When you work in partnership with the powerful, benevolent forces of the universe there is more potential to bring your dreams into being. It's not about magic or wishing things into existence; it's an active, intentional process that puts you in the driver's seat of your own life.
When you are willing to work together with the resources around you, i.e. people, opportunities, connections, inspirations, etc., you are giving up the idea you have to do it all yourself. You then give voice to the universe as your partner you can create exponentially more because you are not just using your abilities to create, but the entire universe’s ability. You can also align with the values of the universe which support you and everyone else in their expansiveness.
Intuition Vs. Thoughts
Your thoughts are not the same as your intuition. It can be difficult to discern the difference between the two. Your thoughts are a system of experiences, social conditioning, habits, and the attempt to preserve the ego. But here are some ways to evaluate your thoughts.
The Solution for The Empath - Navigating the Electrical System
We tend to think of ourselves as biological beings, bags of flesh and bone powered by food and water. But what is food and water, but energy? We are fundamentally electrical beings. Our hearts beat, our lungs breathe, and our eyes perceive energy. Energy is the basis for who we are and our conscious relationship with that helps us learn to optimize our health and well-being.
This isn't just a woo-woo, new-age concept. Science has long known about the electrical nature of our bodies. Neurons fire with electrical impulses, our hearts beat thanks to electrical signals, and even our thoughts are thought to be the result of electrical activity in the brain.
So, what does it mean to approach yourself as an electrical being? It's about recognizing and embracing this electrical essence and the conscious influence you have over it. You can wire yourself more effectively and easily have more light available to your everyday existence.
The Expert’s Opinion on The Unhealed Empath
As you probably already know, empaths are often known for their sensitivity, compassion, and ability to understand others. But why are most empaths also known for being too sensitive, lacking boundaries, getting easily overwhelmed, and even physically unhealed? The unhealed empath faces a unique set of challenges that can be difficult to navigate, even for the most seasoned self-helper.
Heal the Unhealed Empath - Techniques that Don't Work
An unhealed empath is someone who is highly sensitive to the emotions of others, but who has not yet developed the skills to manage their empathic abilities healthily. This can lead to several problems, including:
Feeling overwhelmed and drained by the emotions of others.
Struggling to set boundaries and say no to others.
Taking on the responsibility of fixing other people's problems.
Having difficulty expressing their own needs and feelings.
Experiencing anxiety and depression.
The Symptoms of Being an Unhealed Empath
If you are an empath you are highly attuned to and sensitive to the emotions of others. You might often feel what others are feeling as if they were their own emotions. Some empaths are so sensitive and unhealed that they have completely shut themselves off to knowing that this is what they are doing, which may make them come across as hardened or cold.
People who feel the need to use a lot of external signals to create space, such as tattoos, dark clothing, touch looking facades, are often very sensitive empaths who have not discovered any other way to protect themselves.
This ability to deeply understand and connect with others' emotions can be a source of great strength and compassion. However, it can also be a challenge, as you can easily become overwhelmed by the emotions of others.
The Gap - Transitions
When you are in a time of transition, for example moving to a new house, new job, new relationship, etc. you are feeling unclear about where you are headed and nervous about what you are leaving behind. It is a gap between the known to the unknown. But the gap is where the freedom lies.
Right before you start that new job, you can release old patterns of being at work and start fresh. Right before you move to a new house, you can go through your things and clear out the things you no longer need. This is an excellent time to reevaluate, slow down, and recreate.
You are not yet in an automatic pattern or have gone unconscious with your day-to-day. What a great opportunity for awareness and intentionally creating new relationships with you day-to-day.
Don't Get Hooked In
But what happens when people are telling stories to themselves and others about you, that you don't notice or you aren't part of directly? Or when realities are being formed in other people's minds about you and your actions that don't match your reality?
Sympathy, Empathy and all Things in Between
If you are an empath, you know first hand how everyone is feeling because you feel it too. Empaths have the ability to sense a room with their own senses. They don’t just observe what is happening, they feel it. This can be a blessing and a curse.
The blessing is, you tend to be very compassionate and willing to see someone else’s side of things. The curse is you sometimes can’t tell the difference between your feelings and someone else’s. Communication Issues
Communication is often the root of our problems with others. We may misunderstand what someone says, or they may misunderstand us. This can lead to conflict and resentment.
But what about the way we communicate with ourselves? Do we always listen to our own thoughts, feelings, and needs? Or do we often ignore or deny them?
When we don't communicate effectively with ourselves, it can lead to problems in all areas of our lives. We may make poor decisions, feel stressed or anxious, or have difficulty achieving our goals.
Your Energetic Intelligence
Consciously using your energy field is easy. The trick is to do it when you are under pressure. The best way to flex this muscle is to practice, so when the pressure comes, you already know how it feels to be balanced. Giving conscious attention to your energy, arms length around you, is all you really need. Acknowledging how you want to feel in your personal space and who you authentically are.
